Joan Duszynski lives in Virginia with her husband and their three kids. Woods surround her home and she loves the privacy and quiet it brings. She wasn’t always a reader, so that moment when she picked up a book and found herself engrossed in its pages and unable to put it down will never be forgotten. It eventually led her to want to try and write and share stories of her own, in hopes that others will find themselves reading and getting lost inside of them. Thanks can’t be expressed enough for your time and interest. Please feel free to connect with the author either through Email, Twitter, or Facebook.
As with the other guests I’ve featured, Joan was kind enough to respond to my crazy interview questions.

What is your “girlie girl” thing? I.e. getting your hair done? Nails? Shopping? Gossiping? Chick flicks?
Just hangout time with my girls. I have this very special group of ladies and we are great friends that call/consider ourselves Ya-Ya sisters. As long as we are all together it doesn’t matter what we’re doing, it’s just amazing girl time.

When you go to Starbucks or Jamba Juice, what do you order?
Skinny Vanilla Latte Hot and during the Fall, it’s Pumpkin Spice, yum.
When you walk into a book store, where do you head first?
This is going to sound odd because all stores are different and I usually always read just a few genres but the honest answer here is to the right. I always walk right first…who knows why???
If we sneaked a peek in your purse right now, what would we find?
A mess. Wallet, lip gloss, business cards, bills, tweezers, dental floss, sanitizer, keys, pouch with earbuds and USB flash drives, receipts, coupons.
